David Turner decides to send his young teenage children, Andy and Emmie, to stay with their two eccentric old aunts, Tara and Maddie while he goes on sabbatical. It quickly becomes apparent that the nice peaceful stay in the country that the children dread will be anything but boring as they accidentally stumble upon a violent murder and watch in horror as the town’s new pastor kills his wife. What follows is a deadly cat and mouse game between the four friends and the murderer, as he seeks to discover their identity.
